Vital Safety Pty Ltd, founded by Cameron Hunter in 1998, came to be after Cameron recognized a gap in the market for specialized confined space services. After completing his university science degree majoring in Toxicology and Physiology, and post-graduate studies to become an Occupational Hygienist, Cameron established Vital Safety. The company got its start by contracting with a major Gas Plant redevelopment project in its first few months of operation, which led to the building of a strong alliance with industrial organizations.

Today, Vital Safety has provided services to over 200 companies and continues to offer on-site training, auditing, and assessments of confined spaces and other safety concerns. The company has served industries such as oil and gas, aviation, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, construction and utility companies across Australia. Each project is customized to fit the client's specific needs and the company has maintained ongoing support from clients who value its knowledge and expertise.
